Summary: Unfortuate purchase
Comment: Ugh, I read the reviews and took a risk.
The first step to putting the table together (eeek) took 15 minutes and the only thing involved was sliding one pole into the other pole. Too tight of a fit. The rest of the assembly went normally. Then the last FINAL STEP, the wheel needed to be screwed in. ugh...this is where we had to stop. The wheel would not screw in because the screw hole had the black hardened lacquer dripped inside. No way anything could screw into that. At that point the table was deemed unassemablable. (spelling?) It was frustrating. We did stand the table on end and noticed that we would have returned it anyways because the table top was wobbly. Not a safe & secure enough table for me to feel confident on laying my laptop.

Summary: Good idea but poor execution
Comment: My impression is similar to another buyer's review. This desk is an interesting idea but poorly executed. In particular, the instructions are unclear and, among other things, fail to clearly note that the two tops must be lined up with their straight sides facing each other (a mistake that would be very easy to make), and are very unclear about the placement of the metal straps. Furthermore, the nylon inserts don't all line up well with the screws and tend to come out if a screw needs to be removed, as is inevitable with these poor instructions. Finally, the larger table arrived quite badly scratched (even though the packaging was perfect) and the surface was wavy. Apart from all that, this is a reasonably good item; just don't expect it to be as easy to assemble as you think, and don't expect fine furniture.

Comment: Ok... the screws get screwed into a piece of plastic and 50% of them were stripped within a minute of opening the box. Ive put LOTS of these types of furniture together before and this is the worst I've seen yet.
It just doesnt work.

Summary: Cheap, poorly designed and frustrating
Comment: This product is impossible to put together properly. The pieces don't fit. It comes with a little hex wrench that is supposed to tighten the screws, but the last two screws won't tighten all the way, leaving me with a wobbly stand. It's a cheap piece of junk. I'm very unhappy with it. It's either going back to the seller or into the trash.
