Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Great for protection of ears Comment: I brought this for my son when he was 6 and is heavily involved in Jiu Jitsu. My son is very active and quite competitive in the sport. He would come home with red ears as he spent an hour wrestling through jiu jitsu moves that would cause his ears to rub against his opponents Gi. After trying several typical ear guards and having my son resist wearing them because he would get to "hot" I found these. He has not complained since I brought them for him and dutifully wears them. The only complaint I have is that this is the 2nd pair I am buying since the snap on the chin strap broke and we couldn't find a place to replace it. We were able to rig it by cutting through the foam section and we actually are still using it but I don't expect it to take too much more punishment so I'm buying a new one. More Reviews
